Lana van der Merwe joined Aldridge Borden – OneSource in 2022, drawn to the firm's warm, family-like atmosphere and commitment to excellence. As an Administrative Assistant in the Tax Department, Lana takes pride in supporting her colleagues, leveraging her passion for secretarial work that started in her teenage years working in her father's office. The personal connections she forms with her kind and caring clients, along with the fulfillment she gets from assisting others, motivate her daily. She particularly enjoys unraveling invoice discrepancies, which she views as puzzles waiting to be solved.

Within her team, Lana appreciates the close-knit and supportive environment, adding a touch of joy with her reputation as the go-to person for peppermints and jokes. Outside of work, Lana’s greatest joy comes from her four sons, whom she describes as daily blessings. Her faith plays a central role in her life, and if she weren't in her current role, she would pursue a life of ministry and travel, driven by a passion for exploring new cultures and positively impacting lives. One intriguing aspect of Lana's life is her time spent in South Africa on a mission trip, where she fulfilled her dream of fostering two teenage daughters for a year, embracing the opportunity to live abroad.
